This had to be one of the most incredible things I have ever done and while very frightening, it was awesome! All I had to hold on to was a stump. Getting on the camel, I had to have help. My foot got stuck and I thought for sure my leg was going to come off. I don't think I stretched like that in a very long time!! I looked for a seat beat but there wasn't any. They gave me no direction on how to hold on. The camel walked over very rough rocks and earth and for a while, I thought I was a real goner!! The muscles on my arms felt like they were burning. I couldn't really enjoy the totally ride because I was looking down a lot, hoping I wouldn't fall. The kids kept yelling to me to hold on and that I'd be OK. Sure, it was good for them to talk about it. They were doing great on their camel. Even little Rialey was guiding his camel with ease.
Finally when we reached the area where we could get pictures of the 3 pyramids, I was getting use to actually riding my camel. Layla's camel tried to bite her and Rialey had the smaller camel and he really enjoyed it.
Truly it was so surreal and of all the places we saw, this had to be one of our top best and we recommend if you ever get the chance to ride a camel, then DO IT!! It is really fun. take the chance and live life to its fullest!
